On August 2/11, the adventure will begin, as our Youth team of 12 departs Alberta to Cusco, Peru. The current agenda is to spend the two weeks on a work project at ATEK and assisting with youth and children's camps in a village in the Andes Mountains. After the team departs on August 15th, I'll be starting some language training, and then get to meet the staff and kids at the orphanage the week after! I am definitely getting excited, and at this point, wondering if I can pack everything I need for a year (or longer) into one suitcase and a hiking pack.
